Written by John Henderson Spencer, and published by him in 1885, this work covers the history of Baptists and the Baptist church in Kentucky from 1769 to 1883. This includes the formation of various churches, biographies on hundreds of prominent Baptists, and a detailed history of the Campbellite movement and resulting schism.
The work was published in two volumes.
