Mrs. King taught school at New Haven for 23 years. During that time the job duties of teachers changed and she recounts some of those changes. She tells of some memorable co-workers and students she knew through the years. She also tells how involved the community of Union was with the school and the different special programs they did like Odyssey of the Mind and a Russian Friendship program. She also tells some of her family history at the beginning of the interview.
