She was a member of the girls basketball team for New Haven and later for UK. She also tells about growing up on a farm during World War II and the rationing that went on during that time. She tells what types of entertainment the teens had at a skating rink in Walton and various church activities. She also tells of some of the changes the Richwood area has been through over the past 60 years and her role in the Retired Teachers organization.
